Effect of Mass Removal Products on Heat Exchange at Graphite Disintegration in a Radiating Air Plasma (Vliyanie Produktov Unosa Massy na Teploobmen Pri Razrushenii Grafita v Izluchayushchey Vozdushnoy Plazme),

Abstract

The problem of a stationary hyperacoustic overflow of the leading critical point of a blunt body made of graphite by a high temperature viscose and heat conducting stream of radiating air in the space between the receded shock wave and the body surface is examined. An investigation of radiant and convectional heat exchange on the impenetrable surface was conducted, as well as in the presence of injection blast. Characteristics were obtained of the graphite mass removal with the condition that the radiation transport by the products of its disintegration takes place. (Author)
