A Sizing Methodology for U.S. Air Force Central Supply and Maintenance Resources,

Abstract

The study developed cost-estimating relationships which relate Program 7 resource requirements to Air Force weapon systems. For some weapon systems, averages of recent years or other methods were employed to forecast depot maintenance costs; for others which exhibited a pattern of growth in these costs, regression analysis was employed. Equations have also been developed to estimate civilian manpower expenses in all of the major program elements. (Author)
