Spinning Operations and Rotary Extrusion,
Abstract
Generalized and systematized is the experience in manufacturing axisymmetrical articles on modern pressing and spinning-rolling lathes and machines by various methods of extrusion in the Soviet Union and abroad. Examined are types and ways of spinning treatment, the technology of ordinary and rotational extrusion of parts of various forms from sheet and intermediate billets. Given are calculation methods for billets and recommendations on the choice of regimes in rotation extrusion. Described are typical constructions of present spinning equipment of diverse technological designation. (Author)
