Some Results of Astro-Gravimetric Leveling in the USSR (Nekotorye Rezultaty Astronomo-Gravimetricheskogo Nivelirovaniya v SSSR),
Abstract
The paper discusses some results of astro-geodetic leveling in the USSR. It has found wide application in the USSR because with a given accuracy of determining the quasi-geoidal heights it makes it possible to substantially increase the distance between the astro-points in comparison with astronomic leveling.
