Equipment for the Radar Investigations of Meteors in Dushanbe

Abstract

The article describes the equipment built at the Astrophysics Institute of the Tadzhik branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences for the measurement of upper atmospheric winds according to the IQSY program, for determining the coordinates, altitudes, radiants, and velocities of meteors, and for studying the physics of meteors and the upper atmosphere. Brief data concerning the equipment's operation is presented.
