Airfield Pavement Evaluation: Reese Air Force Base Auxiliary Airfield, Terry County, Texas.

Abstract

The Reese Air Force Base Auxiliary Airfield facilities consisted of one N-S runway 150 ft wide and 7400 ft long with a paved overrun area at each end, one taxiway 75 ft wide and 8546 ft long, and one holding pad approximately 58 ft wide and 150 ft long. Typical pavement and foundation sections are given. Physical property data for the pavement and foundation material is described. A visual inspection was made of the facilities in January 1961 and no visual defects were noted. (Author)
