Investigation of Cement-Replacement Materials. Report 8 (Revised). Tests of Samples of Fly Ash Sutton Reservoir Project. CWI Item no. 601. Research in Mass Concrete.

Abstract

Twenty samples of the fly ash used in the Sutton Reservoir Project were tested at the Ohio River Division Laboratories and at the Waterways Experiment Station. The tests conducted at ORDL were part of the routine acceptance testing, whereas the tests conducted at WES were to determine whether the test results are reproducible by different laboratories with the objective of improving specifications and test methods for pozzolans. The results obtained by both laboratories were analyzed by a graphical statistical procedure.
