A Comparative Evaluation of Some Principles of Construction Operator-Computer Communication Systems,

Abstract

Consideration of problems connected with the organization of the structure of devices for displaying graphic data for the most widely used methods of image description (raster, coordinate, and incremental) is discussed. Block diagrams are presented for a fixed class of images, and a description is given of the operation of the systems. Approximate quantitative evaluations of the devices are made for the case of the display of literal digital data. (Author)
