Irreducibility in the Von Neumann Model.

Abstract

The paper studies two dual types of irreducibility for the von Neumann economic model. Algebraic characterizations of these properties are obtained, and the von Neumann indecomposability criterion (A + B > 0) is shown to have a simple relationship to one of them. (Author)
