Processing of 18% Ni Maraging Steel (350 Grade)

Abstract

The study was conducted to show effect of processing procedures on mechanical properties of 18% nickel (350 grade) maraging steel. The material was subjected to variable forging, solution treatments and aging temperatures. Air melt versus vacuum melt comparisons are shown.
