Control of Underseepage by Relief Wells, Trotters, Mississippi. Volume I. Appendix B. Analysis of 1952 Well Flow and Piezometric Data. Appendix C. 1953 Pumping Tests.

Abstract

In 1950 an experimental relief well system was installed along the toe of the Mississippi River levee at Trotters, Mississippi, (Mi 54) to study the control of underseepage by means of relief wells. Appendix B contains an analysis of piezometric and well flow data obtained during a high water in 1952. Appendix C presents the results of pumping tests made on selected wells in 1953 for the purpose of comparing the present yield of the wells with the yield obtained when the wells were first installed in 1950.
