Analysis and simulation are used to ascertain problem areas that exist when engagement techniques similar to those used for fixed wing aircraft are used for helicopters. It is shown that significant improvements in helicopter controllability and rocket accuracy can be achieved by utilizing an impact prediction calculation which accounts for the relative wind on the rocket launching tubes.
