A New Fluid Mechanics Laboratory in the Department of Aeronautics

Abstract

A brief description of four new experimental fluid mechanics facilities in the Naval Postgraduate School, Department of Aeronautics is presented. Each of the facilities was developed with the capability of studying one classical flow situation thoroughly and extended to include a variety of complex secondary effects which are of current interest.
