The Periodic Directional Filter.

Abstract

The report presents computational methods for the analysis of periodically coupled transmission lines. Two methods are described for obtaining the scattering matrix of two cascaded four-port networks where the S-matrix of the individual networks are known. One method uses the scattering transfer matrix and the other method gives the elements of the scattering matrix directly in terms of the elements of the matrices of the individual networks.
