Microwave Link Performance Measurements at 8 and 14 GHz.

Abstract

Received signal level recordings were made at 8 and 14 GHz for one year on a 31-mile microwave relay link in southeastern Colorado. Data were processed with a switch-combiner simulator to determine the effect of dual diversity with selection combining; this study indicated improved performance for frequency, space, and crossband diversity configurations. Meteorological effects on link performance were also investigated. (Author)
