Method for Determining the Effectiveness of Technological Lubricants,
Abstract
The Russian invention pertains to the area of testing the effectiveness of technological lubricants during sheet stamping. A method is known for determing the effectiveness of technological lubricants during sheet stamping. It consists of the pressing of spherical holes in sheet samples with the standard and tested lubricants. The proposed method differs from known methods by the fact that the depth of the pressed hole is measured with a subsequent comparison with the depth of a hole which was pressed in a sheet sample with standard lubricant applied to it. The effectiveness of the technological lubricants is determined from the difference between the depths of the spherical holes. (Author)
