Investigation of Liquid-Metal Magnetohydrodynamic Power Systems.

Abstract

Detailed cycle and component analyses were carried out on liquid-metal MHD energy conversion systems to establish realistic performance limits, identify important system parameters, determine constraints imposed upon the parameters by the cycle and to identify and evaluate critical problem areas that require research and development programs.
