Datacomputer Project Semi-Annual Technical Report, February 1, 1972 to July 31, 1972

Abstract

The goal of the project is the development of a shared, large-scale data system for the ARPA community. The system may be viewed as a box that performs the functions of data storage and data management on behalf of multiple computers simultaneously connected to the box. The topics discussed in the report include the following: Hardware installation; Software design and implementation; Coordination activities; and Working paper no. 5, 'Datacomputer Software Architecture--Revision 1'.
