Management: The Planning Process

Abstract

The report is one of a series of monographs relating to the system of management. The process of planning is discussed as one of the elements of the management system in which all the elements are intricately related with each other. The system is viewed in terms of a three-dimensional model. Included are the following topics: System of management; the process and functions of planning; need and concepts; types of plans, including goals and objectives, non-repetitive actions, and repetitive actions.
