Management: The Organizing Process.

Abstract

The report is one of a series of monographs relating to the system of management. The process of organizing is discussed as one of the elements of the management system in which all the factors are intricately related with each other. The system is viewed in terms of a three-dimensional model in which one dimension consists of the functions of establishing objectives, formulating policies, and making decisions; a second dimension is comprised of the traditional management processes of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling; and the third dimension represents the bonds of communication tying together all the other elements of the management system.
