A Theory of Electrical Conduction in Wire Braids.

Abstract

A theory is derived in order to account for the losses in wire braid coaxial conductors in the frequency band where skin effect is not important and in the band where it is well developed. As the theory assumes that there is no current transfer across the wire contacts it would not be applicable in the microwave band without some modification. (Author)
