A Brief Introduction to Ray Methods for Dispersive Hyperbolic Equations,

Abstract

The ray method for dispersive hyperbolic equations is described via a specific example, i.e., application to the Klein-Gordon equation. Reference is made to other situations such as systems of partial differential equations and wave-guide problems. A fairly extensive bibliography is included. (Author)
