Simultaneous Recovery of Satellite and Station Positions Utilizing the Short Arc Method.

Abstract

Results from short arc reductions, using continuous integrated doppler observations, verify that the satellite state vector can be recovered with the same accuracy as the position of an observing site when that satellite is ovserved by five or more properly oriented geoceivers. This method is applicable for continental and intercontinental survey recovery. (Author)
