Abstract
The report covers the acceptance tests performed on a 3.0-kw, advanced development, organic, Rankine-cycle power plant developed by Thermo Electron Corporation, Waltham, Massachusetts. The acceptance tests involve the evaluation of the following: electrical output, multifuel operation, fuel consumption, size, weight, inclined operation, noise level, extreme temperature operation, and life. The report includes a description of the principal components and control logic of the set and discusses the results of the tests performed. Modifications made during the test program and suggestions to improve the design are included. (Author)
