Local Civil Defense Directors in Action: Perceived Problems and Patterns of Interaction.

Abstract

The report is the third of a five-part series of reports which presents the initial questions and responses to items related to the problems, communication and interaction of local civil defense director/coordinators obtained from a national sample of that group. The report presents with the use of simple descriptive statistics (frequency, mean, mode, std. dev., etc.) content areas which include: problems with resources, relations with local government, relations with the public, etc. The second part of the report focuses on the communications with local government and State C.D. officials and the interaction of directors with other civil defense personnel.
