Research to Determine the Environmental Response to the Deposition of Spoil on Salt Marshes Using Diked and Undiked Techniques.

Abstract

The report presents the results of the first year studies of a three year research contract to determine the environmental response to the deposition of dredged material on salt marshes using diked and undiked confinement techniques. The report includes studies of water quality changes, studies of salt marsh sediment responses, and biological studies directed toward identifying any changes in the biota in areas of dredging activities.
