Results of Measurements on a Trailing Electrode Antenna.
Abstract
Measurements were made on a trailing electrode antenna. This line was constructed for use on Project D/S 225. The over-all line length was 1152-feet with the trailing and terminated in a drogue to improve towing characteristics. Contained in the cable core were three twisted pairs of No. 14, Teflon-covered, copper wires.
