The Use of Medication and Drugs in Flying Personnel.

Abstract

The 22 papers presented covered operational and policy aspects, experimental studies of drug effects on performance, the evaluation, detection, and identification of drugs, problems of self-medication (e.g. alcohol, smoking), clinical experience, and the flight surgeon's responsibility. In this way all papers had a close bearing on operational and aeromedical requirements.
