Nonlinear Optimization and Generalized Lagrange Multipliers.
Abstract
The report describes briefly the research accomplishments during the first 12 months of the grant. Five papers have been produced and a doctoral thesis has been brought almost to completion. These works deal with diverse but fundamental aspects of optimization, ranging from mathematical programming and optimal control to economic models of growth and production. (Author)
