Study of Solar Wind Interactions. Appendix 1.

Abstract

The document is a collection of journal articles representing the product of research on the study of solar wind interactions. The papers are divided into four categories: The solar wind interaction with the bow shock, the magnetopause, and the moon; The steady-state structure and dynamics of the magnetospheric tail; Magnetospheric convection, and the dynamic interaction between the magnetosphere and the ionosphere through the flow of Birkeland currents; and The theory of the magnetospheric substorm phenomenon.
