Monthly Mean Bathythermograph Data from Ocean Weather Station 'NOVEMBER',
Abstract
The report presents the monthly mean vertical distributions of sea temperature at Ocean Weather Station 'November' as computed from twenty four years (1947-1970) of routine bathythermograph observations. Graphs are presented showing mean vertical temperature profile for individual months superimposed upon the long-term mean profile for the month. In addition, graphs of the individual monthly mean depths of isotherms, subsurface temperature anomalies, and subsurface temperature gradients are displayed. Also included are the digitized values of the individual monthly mean sea temperatures and their standard deviations at five meter intervals from the surface down to the depth of the deepest cast for the month. A listing of the daily distribution of BT observations for each month is shown. (Author)
