Abstract
The problems considered in the report involve the calculation of the minimum eigenvalue of a system of linear differential equations with variable coefficients. Precise solution of this problem is impossible in most cases; therefore, different approximation methods are commonly used, which usually reduce the initial problem to calculation of the minimum eigenvalue of an infinite matrix.
