The Development of Applied Methods in Problems of Static Calculation of Thin-Walled Three-Dimensional Systems (Shells and Folds) (Razvitie Prikladnykh Metodov v Zadachakh Staticheskogo Rascheta Tonkostennykh Prostranstvennykh Sistem (Oblochki i Skladki)),

Abstract

The report reviews recent mathematical methods used to calculate the strength of thin-walled elastic systems. Included are the following: Variational and variational-difference methods; The finite element method; Method of calculating operators and input equations; The method of initial functions; Methods of calculating thin-walled systems using partial solutions of homogeneous solving equations of the two-dimensional problem and banding of plates; The small parameter method.
