Improving the Screwability of Titanium Bolts with Nuts Made of Various Materials (Uluchshenie Svinchivaemosti Titanovykh Boltov s Gaikami iz Razlichnykh Materialov),

Abstract

The investigation concludes that nuts made of 1Kh18N9 steel, nuts made of OT4 alloy oxidized at 700 and 800C, and nuts made of VT3-1 alloy oxidized at 800C are most suitable for use in connections with VT14 and VT16 titanium alloy bolts.
