Some Remarks on the Strain-Rate Sensitive Behavior of Shells,

Abstract

An experimental investigation into the dynamic plastic behavior of various shells has been reported recently in other reports. The inner surfaces of the test models were subjected to uniformly distributed impulsive velocities which produced extensive plastic deformation. The present report describes the viscoplastic characteristics of some of these models.
