A Precision Yawsonde Calibration Technique

Abstract

A technique has been developed for the accurate calibration of yawsondes of the Harry Diamond Laboratory type to provide a calibration accurate to within 0.1 degree. The current system can be applied to calibration of yawsonde made at the Ballistic Research Laboratories with the same accuracy as the HDL type.
