Abstract

The report contains a summary and analysis of the results of research concerned with: Seismic source properties, including spectral characteristics, focal mechanism and source dimension of earthquakes and explosions, and near- field ground motion and yield estimates. Problems related to magnitude determination, particularly for small seismic events. Problems related to the accurate location of seismic events.
