Quick-Look Blast Charts.

Abstract

Presented are a collection of charts and instructions for their use that may be used to obtain estimates of the free-field blast effects (gust and overpressure) resulting from the detonation of a nuclear weapon. The report is intended to be an easy-to-use reference for preliminary calculations where blast parameters are required for input to systems analysis problems and based on the computer program SABER used at AFWL for environment calculations in support of systems analyses. Included is a simplified computer program that will give the same results as the charts. (Author)
