A Survey of Mathematical Techniques for Solid Waste Management

Abstract

One means of improving solid waste collection efficiency is through the use of mathematical modeling and other analytic techniques. The research effort briefly summarizes some of the more significant efforts i quantifying solid waste collection and transportation systems. These techniques are described and evaluated for potential Air Force use.
