Methods of Edge Detection in Visual Scenes,

Abstract

Several methods of detecting edges in visual scenes by a digital computer are presented. There are two broad procedures of edge detection, called one- and two-pass methods. Examples illustrating some of the methods in each catagory are given. (Author)
