Cooperative Computing Systems for Echo Detection with Respect to Moving Targets; Sub-Project Feasibility Study and Definition of Task Relevant Parameters.

Abstract

The report describes a feasibility of echo detection using a Cooperative Computing System (CCS) which has been used successfully in process control, signal filtering, classification, and pattern recognition. The technique is specifically applied to the identification of moving targets on AMTI radar and developments such as FLAMR and F-15 Radar. But the principles are also applicable to Sonar systems.
