On the Interaction of Radio Channels in Geodetic Phase Type Radio Distance Finders (O Vzaimnom Vliyanii Radiokanalov v Geodezicheskikh Fazovykh Radiodalnomerakh),

Abstract

'Cyclic zero error' is found to be caused by the superimposition of the basic oscillator frequency at the slave station and oscillation from the low frequency converter. In some models an auxiliary FM oscillation used to carry the signal from the slave to the master is a particular source of difficulty. Reducing the depth of modulation of this signal helps to reduce the error. (Author)
