Abstract
The purpose of this document is to present to the user a concise and rapid access to some basic information on Military Infrared Functional Systems, including Infrared Components and Infrared Test Equipment. This handbook represents an attempt to categorize, describe, and list as many as possible of the technical aspects that are likely to be encountered in the conception, specification, fabrication, and test of the important basic military infrared systems.
