Military Standardization Handbook. Optical Systems and Components for Infrared Applications; Engineering Guide to the Specification and Measurement of Quality.

Abstract

The Handbook is an engineering guide to the functional specification and measurement of surface and material quality for optical systems and components that are intended for use in infrared spectral regions. It is also applicable to visual and ultraviolet spectral regions for the most part, although quality for infrared spectral regions has been given the main emphasis. Infrared spectral regions, for purposes of this document, begin at 0.70 micrometers.
