A Definition of Measure of Certain Infinite Series.

Abstract

The series u(1) + u(2) + u(3) + ... + (u(n) + ... with u(t) being an analytic function of t (t > 0) is studied. A function, unique except for an arbitrary integration constant, is used in defining the measure of the series. The intimate relationship between measure and partial sums, as well as the sums of convergent series, is shown.
