Locking Device for Military Vehicles

Abstract

A steering wheel locking device was developed for military tactical wheeled vehicles. The lock is an accessory which can be field installed. The lock cylinder, when unlocked, can be removed to deactivate the device. An user evaluation was conducted which concluded that the device was suitable for the intended use, and after correction of minor deficiencies be type classified.
