Fuel Systems Standards Analysis Research Report.
Abstract
The Proposed Federal Standards Elements apply to boats having enclosed engine and fuel compartments utilizing fuel with a flash point of less than 110 degrees F. The Technical Analysis lists the sources and discusses the fuel systems devices that are presently in use and the need for such devices for safety in the prevention of fire and explosion. Compliance Testing discusses the various methods that could be employed for installation and safe operation. (Author Modified Abstract)
