Free Piston Gasifier Studies: Further Development and Use of the Hybrid Simulation,

Abstract

Previous work on the modelling of the free piston gasifier has been extended to include refined models of the combustion process and of engine friction. The model was used to study the sensitivity of the engine performance to environmental and design parameters. (Author)
