Power Inversion in a Two-Element Adaptive Array.
Abstract
The objective of this research is to develop an antenna system capable of receiving a weak communication signal in the presence of a strong interfering signal without the need for information about signal structure. This report considers the behavior of a two element adaptive array with proportional plus integral feedback control. Two incoherent CW signals (one desired and one interfering) are assumed incident on the array, and the improvement in signla-to-interference ratio is studied. (Author)
