Regional Distribution of National Aggregate Final Demand,
Abstract
The manual provides documentation of the Matrix Arithmetic Programming System (MAPS) run set up to obtain regional final demands using a given set of national final demands in combination with multiregional input-output (MRIO) regional data. The national final demand figures used may be output from any national model which distributes final demands to input-output sectors-the examples given in this paper use national figures obtained from the Demand Impact Transformation Table (DITT) system. Information concerning the DITT system can be found in REG-106, dated February 1970, titled Demand Impact Transformation Tables (DITT). (Author)
